The International Friends of the Natural Sciences Museum is a publicly supported, tax-exempt nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This organization plays a vital role in promoting biodiversity education and specimen conservation, with contributions being tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Gifts of specimens and financial contributions strengthen the Museum’s collection, supporting its growth, preservation, and accessibility for research, education, and public benefit.
Contributions to specimen conservation provide the resources needed to stabilize, restore, and protect the Museum’s collections, ensuring their scientific and cultural value endures.
Funding for collection digitization enables the Museum to create accurate digital records, expanding access for researchers and the public while safeguarding original specimens.
